Dear Spartan Families-
As President of the Seven Lakes High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), I would like to extend a warm welcome as we kick off our 2018-2019 school year.
The PTSA plays a vital role in our school. We advocate for EVERYchild that walks through our doors. We invite you to join us in our endeavor because without you- our Spartan parents and students- the PTSA would not exist.
Though fundraising is not our primary goal, it is a necessity. With your help, we provide the following:
- Educational programs such as AIM for Success for our 9th graders, Krista’s Karing Angels Drinking and Driving awareness program, Workday Wednesdays, Princeton Review College Financial Aid Programs, Anti-vaping programs and many more
- Each year we give away THOUSANDS of dollars in college scholarships to Spartan seniors continuing their education post high school
- Teacher hospitality throughout the year to support and thank our wonderful teachers for the job they do through luncheons and other PTSA sponsored events
- Yearly teacher scholarship and grants for the academic enrichment of our students
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
The easiest way is for you and your students to Join the PTSA! You will find Membership Envelopes enclosed in this first day packet or go to our website, www.sevenlakesptsa.comto join online.
Become a Spartan Sponsor by donating to our WRITE A CHECK campaign. We have several different donation levels to choose from, and every dollar you donate makes a difference.
We invite you to join us by becoming a volunteer in our school. Fill out the volunteer form- either paper or online- and send it back to us so we can help get you plugged in. Everyone is welcome.
We look forward to an amazing year!
Jennifer Gawne, PTSA President
